I sat down in my comfy lounge and watched Australian Story last night, and was so moved by your story that I needed to do something about it.
It is my understanding post talking to you on the phone, that to purchase a Mine Detector, the cost is around $2,000.00, a lot of chook raffles I would expect, I have discussed your plight with our Directors and it was unanimous that our company donate to your cause the amount of $2,000.00 (cheque attached).
I wish both of you every success in your vision and hope that your efforts are further enhanced by this and hopefully other donations that you are likely to receive.
